Accessibility Information

This information describes how Cinemura addresses the requirements of the German Accessibility Improvement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and the Regulation under that Act (BFSGV) for its services. It must be made available to Consumers in an accessible format and kept current while the Service is offered.

Through a marketing website, web app and apps for iOS and Android, Cinemura enables Consumers to enter into and manage contracts electronically for a digital service. This information covers those websites and mobile apps, sign-in, security, ordering and payment functions, and the core functions described in Section 2.

Since 28 June 2025, the BFSG has applied, among other things, to e-commerce services. Under Section 3(3) BFSG, microenterprises providing services are exempt from the accessibility obligation in Section 3(1) BFSG. A microenterprise employs fewer than ten persons and has either annual turnover not exceeding EUR 2 million or an annual balance-sheet total not exceeding EUR 2 million (Section 2 no. 17 BFSG).

2. General description of the Service

Cinemura enables Users to

  1. create an account and sign in by email, Apple, Google or passkey;
  2. select and upload their own property photos and videos as reference media;
  3. request an AI-generated video by providing text, video duration and aspect ratio;
  4. regenerate an existing job with an amended prompt;
  5. create an interactive 3D view from multiple photos;
  6. view job status and allowances and view, download and share results;
  7. manage profile, language, presentation, sessions, subscription and privacy functions; and
  8. order and manage paid plans using externally hosted Stripe Checkout.

The Service is offered in German and English and, where technically provided, in light, dark or system-dependent presentation. Plan details are supplied from a central configuration.

3. Applicable accessibility requirements

To the extent Cinemura is subject to the BFSG, the Service must be findable, accessible and usable by persons with disabilities in the usual manner, without particular difficulty and, in principle, without assistance. Under Sections 12 and 19 BFSGV, information and functions must in particular be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. This also applies to identification, authentication, security and payment.

The technical assessment basis is the applicable requirements of the BFSGV, the version of EN 301 549 applicable to the Service and the WCAG criteria referenced by it. Reference to these standards is not a certification.

4. Intended implementation

Cinemura is designed with the following accessibility features:

  • Perceivable: semantic headings and labels, text alternatives for functional images, sufficient contrast, scalable text, information not conveyed through colour alone, and captions or text alternatives for editorial audio/video content where required.
  • Operable: keyboard operation on the web, visible focus, meaningful focus order, sufficiently large targets, no keyboard traps, controllable or reduced motion and adequate time for input.
  • Understandable: clear German and English labels, consistent navigation, associated form labels, helpful validation and error messages, and understandable information on allowances, payment, cancellation and withdrawal.
  • Robust: standards-based web semantics and native controls, status announcements for assistive technologies, and compatibility testing with current browsers, screen readers and operating-system accessibility features.
  • Identification and security: accessible registration, sign-in, passkeys, session management and account deletion; security requirements should not create unnecessary barriers.
  • Ordering and payment: perceivable and operable price, contract, checkout, cancellation and withdrawal functions, including externally hosted Stripe interfaces.
  • Motion: the web and native apps take account of the system reduced-motion setting; automatic rotation in the 3D viewer can be disabled when reduced motion is active.

These features describe the intended design. The extent to which they are actually met in each released interface can be determined only through the assessments in Section 5.

5. Conformance and assessment status

The following require particular assessment:

  • interactive 3D models and augmented-reality functions that may not communicate all spatial information non-visually;
  • user-uploaded or AI-generated image, audio and video content for which suitable alternatives may not be available automatically;
  • external Apple, Google and Stripe interfaces and operating-system dialogs that Cinemura does not fully control; and
  • live progress, allowance and status information.

Third-party content is excluded from the BFSG only where Cinemura neither funds nor develops nor controls it. This exclusion is not applied across the board to integrated job or payment flows.

6. Operation and accessible alternatives

Essential functions are offered using labelled controls and comprehensible steps. For purely visual functions such as rotating a 3D model, at least one text-operable or support-assisted alternative is provided to the extent required for entering into a contract or using an essential service.

8. Market surveillance and Consumer rights

Under Section 32 BFSG, Consumers may apply to the competent market surveillance authority for proceedings if they claim that a breach of the BFSG or BFSGV prevents or restricts their use of the Service.
