Choosing the right template
At first generation you choose one of 9 curated camera-move templates — from “Aerial approach” to “Vertical for social”. There is deliberately no free-text field: the templates reliably deliver calm, premium camera moves; your own words come in later, when refining.

Why templates instead of free text?
A good camera move is craft: movement, light, and pace have to work together. Instead of making you guess, Cinemura bundles that craft into camera-move templates — each describes a proven move. You pick exactly one template per generation; the property itself comes from your reference photos.

The templates at a glance
- Aerial approach (16:9)
- A calm descent toward the property — the classic opening shot. Best for: Exteriors, family homes, villas.
- Exterior orbit (16:9)
- A slow arc around the building — reveals massing and surroundings. Best for: Detached properties, plots.
- Arrival at the entrance (16:9)
- A glide along the path to the front door — the feeling of arriving. Best for: Entrances, townhouses.
- Interior glide (16:9)
- A calm move through the room — emphasises light, space and materials. Best for: Living rooms, kitchens, open plans.
- Golden hour (16:9)
- Warm evening light, soft shadows — the most emotional look. Best for: Exteriors, terraces, gardens.
- Blue hour (16:9)
- Dusk with lit windows — premium and homely. Best for: Evening shots, illuminated properties.
- Garden & surroundings (16:9)
- A move across the grounds — plot, terrace, pool. Best for: Plots, gardens, pool areas.
- Detail pan (16:9)
- A close, slow pan across materials and details. Best for: Materials, craftsmanship, fittings.
- Vertical for social (9:16)
- Vertical move in 9:16 for Instagram, TikTok and friends. Best for: Social media, reels, stories.

How to choose well
- Detached property with grounds? “Aerial approach” or “Exterior orbit”.
- Townhouse, or the entrance as the star? “Arrival at the entrance”.
- Interiors and open plans? “Interior glide” — nicely paired with a “Detail pan” for materials.
- Emotion for the listing? “Golden hour” or “Blue hour”.
- Instagram, TikTok, stories? “Vertical for social” in 9:16.

Combining several templates
A convincing listing often uses two or three short videos instead of one long one: an aerial approach for the first impression, an interior glide for the living space, a vertical clip for social media. Each generation is one template — plan your seconds budget accordingly.
And your own words?
Free text exists in exactly one place: refining. There you describe in your own words what should change compared to the template — “slower”, “warmer light”, “closer to the entrance”. The “Refining” chapter shows how.
