Almost every listing has good photos. Very few have video. Cinemura turns those same photos into a cinematic video of 4 to 30 seconds — vertical for Reels and Stories, landscape for your own website. One page for Airbnb, Booking, holiday flats, and serviced rooms: the approach is identical.

Is a video worth it for a rental listing?
Honest answer: we know of no reliable figure, and we do not invent one. What is verifiable: host guides and Airbnb itself deal almost exclusively with photography, not video. Video is therefore barely occupied in this niche — with all the opportunity and uncertainty that implies.
Practically, a video serves channels a stack of photos cannot: Instagram and TikTok posts, your own website, ads, replies to direct messages. On the platform itself, photos remain the primary medium — a video does not change that.
This assessment comes from our own market research in September 2026. It rests on an absence of findings (no established video guide could be located), not on positive evidence of demand — so it stands here as an observation, not a promise.
Which format do I need where?
Cinemura renders the same property in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1: 9:16 for Reels, Stories, and TikTok, 1:1 for the feed, 16:9 for your own website and YouTube. The ratio is chosen before generating, not cropped afterwards. 21:9 can only be rendered by Cinemura Premium and is therefore available on the Pro plan only.

What does this cost for one or two properties?
For single listings, Starter is usually enough: €39 incl. VAT (€32.77 net) for 120 seconds a month, at most 15 seconds per video — arithmetically 8 full-length videos or 12 clips of 10 seconds.

Cinemura prices are total prices including 19% German VAT (§ 1 PAngV). Because Cinemura also addresses business customers, the net amount is shown alongside in brackets — each explicitly labeled.
720p is the standard everywhere — on paid plans too. Full HD (1080p) is free on no plan: an HD generation deducts more seconds. A 10-second video costs Starter 25 s, Business 25 s, Pro 20 s instead of 10 s. The free trial stays 720p with a watermark.
Which holiday-rental photos work?
The same ones that look good in the listing: sharp, bright, tidy, several angles per room. Daylight beats flash, wide-angle distortion hurts, and people in the photos are best avoided — for data-protection reasons too.
- Two or three angles per room rather than ten variants of the same corner.
- Exterior shots of the entrance, terrace, or balcony give the video a beginning.
- Photos from one session: same season, same light, same furnishing.
- Do not use other people's photos — including a previous owner's or the property manager's.

Can I upload the video to Airbnb directly?
Whether and where a rental platform allows video is the platform's decision and changes with its rules. The video is reliably usable on social media, your own website, in ads, and in direct guest communication.
I rent out only one flat — is a subscription worth it?
Starter costs €39 incl. VAT (€32.77 net) and can be cancelled monthly. If you need just one video, try the free tier first: 10 seconds in 720p with a watermark.
Does a video give me a 360° tour?
No. Cinemura produces videos and a rotatable 3D exterior view, but no walkthrough interior tour. The 3D view page spells out the difference.
Do purchased seconds expire if I pause for a month?
Pre-purchased seconds never expire and are only consumed once the monthly budget is used up. The monthly budget itself does reset every billing month.
